A cooperation protocol was signed for the LESEXPO Fair, which will bring together the cargo engineering services ecosystem that makes significant contributions to Turkey's economy. The fair, which will be held at the Istanbul Fair Center between September 7-14, will bring together stakeholders in sectors such as tobacco, construction, energy, maritime and heavy industry. The fair, which will be held in cooperation with the Cargo Engineering Association (YMB) and KFA Fair Organization, a subsidiary of the Bursa Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BTSO), will bring together all elements in the cargo engineering services ecosystem.
The fair's cooperation agreement was signed with the participation of YMB Board Chairman Ahmet Altunkum, BTSO Chairman İbrahim Burkay, YMB Board Member Hamza Aydın and YMB Executive Board Chairman Taner İçten. LESEXPO will be a world first and will contribute to a better understanding of the value of cargo engineering services. Similar to construction equipment fairs such as Bauma, this fair will bring together manufacturers, sellers, users, suppliers and service providers in the cargo engineering services ecosystem for the first time.
YMB Board Chairman Ahmet Altunkum stated that LESEXPO will lead Turkish companies to reach international standards and open up to the world, and said, "The fair will introduce Türkiye's success in the field of cargo engineering services to the world and increase its contribution to the country's economy." Altunkum expressed his belief that LESEXPO will contribute to the cargo engineering sector gaining a stronger place in global markets.
BTSO President İbrahim Burkay drew attention to the fact that LESEXPO will increase the power of Turkey's cargo engineering sector in the global market. Burkay said, "Our sector is in a growth trend and will become even stronger in international markets with this cooperation. As KFA Fuarcılık, the fair we are organizing will increase global cooperation in the sector and become one of the reference events in the world." He also emphasized that BTSO will implement many projects together with the Cargo Engineering Association.
